Cream Cheese Cookies

3 ¾ cup sugar

1 2/3 cup margarine

1 2/3 cup shortening

5 eggs

5 TBSP baking powder

2 ½ tsp salt

5 TBSP vanilla

8 ¾ cup flour

Mix sugar, butter, shortening, and eggs. 

Add baking powder, salt, vanilla, and flour. 

Bake at 350 degrees. 

Immediately press your thumb into the middles. 

Cool completely. 

Prepare the filling.

Filling:

4 ½ cups powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

3 TBSP vanilla

6 TBSP flour

Fill the holes in the cookies with cream cheese mixture. Prepare the topping.

Topping:

½ cup butter

2 cups chocolate chips

Melt together and stir until smooth. 

Place the topping into a small plastic sandwich bag. 

Cut off a small corner of the bag. 

Squeeze the topping to drizzle chocolate over the cookies.
