SUGARCREEK, OH - We are an old-fashioned butcher shop, offering a complete line of fresh cuts of beef and pork prepared right on-site. From our own smokehouse we offer bologna, jerky, hot dogs, hams, bacons and more. Our line of chicken is delivered fresh from Gerber’s Poultry and we also have a large selection of deli meats and cheeses. Sugar Valley Meats was started in the fall of 1990 by Reuben and Sharon Erb. Being raised Amish, Reuben grew up in the business, as his own father provided custom processing on the family farm. When realizing that there was a need in the community for a locally owned meat market, Reuben purchased land from the family farm and began this well-known butcher shop. Watching it grow over the years, the building itself has expanded again in 2013. Reuben is proud to have his own family working alongside of him to continue with the tradition of supplying the best quality products to the folks in the Tuscarawas County area and beyond.
